Relocation & Rescue

Rescue and Relocation at Indiana Reptile Center

At Indiana Reptile Center, our passion lies in the compassionate rescue and relocation of reptiles and amphibians. Founded on April 20th, 2022, in Central Indiana, we've dedicated ourselves to providing a haven for unwanted pets and native species in need.

Our Mission: Rescuing the Unwanted

While we're not a licensed veterinary clinic, our mission is clear: to rescue surrendered, unwanted, abused, and neglected reptiles and amphibians. We work tirelessly with a network of trusted veterinarians across the state of Indiana to ensure that every animal in our care receives the attention and medical support they deserve.

Specialized Rescue Efforts

Unlike licensed veterinary clinics, we specialize in the unique challenges of rescuing reptiles and amphibians. Our team is trained and experienced in handling and caring for these fascinating creatures. Whether it's an abandoned pet or a native species facing an unsuitable habitat, we're committed to making a positive impact.

Native Species Relocation

In addition to rescuing unwanted pets, we actively participate in the relocation of native reptiles and amphibians. Our goal is to ensure that these creatures find suitable environments where they can thrive naturally. By working closely with local authorities and wildlife experts, we contribute to the conservation and well-being of our native wildlife.

How We Operate

Operating primarily as an online reptile store and rescue center, we provide a 24/7 platform for those interested in adopting or purchasing reptiles and related care products. Our listings are regularly updated with new species and items, reflecting our commitment to diversity and responsible reptile ownership.

While we may not be licensed veterinarians, our dedication to the well-being of reptiles and amphibians sets us apart. Join us in making a difference in the lives of these incredible creatures—explore our listings, adopt a new companion, and support our ongoing rescue efforts.
